About Caperity

Most project-driven teams are managing resource planning in Excel. Not because they want to — but because nothing else was built for the way they work. Caperity was built to change that.

It started with a simple observation: delivery leads, project managers and PMOs were asking the same questions every week — about capacity, availability, budget — and spending hours trying to find the answers in spreadsheets that were already out of date.

So we built a lightweight, easy to adopt alternative for teams that plan over medium to long horizons — where projects run for months or years, resources are shared across multiple concurrent projects, and getting the planning wrong has real consequences.

The team behind Caperity brings deep experience in engineering, industrial project environments and project management — the kind that comes from working inside the problem. That background shapes everything: the way the product is designed, the questions we ask customers, and the decisions we make about what to build next.

Caperity is built close to its customers. The features that exist today came directly from conversations with the people using it — and that’s how we intend to keep building it.
